Yellow And Blue Living Rooms

hiking in Waitakere

Last weekend we went hiking in Waitakere which was about three quarters of an hour's drive from Auckland. It is pretty much just outside the city. Since it had rained the days before much, it was a pretty sloppy affair, and the half day I had wet feet. But apart from that and most of my wet butt (due to some crashes), it was great and we had so much fun. Who would have thought that I walk like? Exactly. Nobody: D even I do not. After a quick check, at what price hiking boots so I have rejected this idea again and will continue to walk with my sneakers, and probably with wet feet.

We went around 8:45 and were going on there at half past ten. At half past six, we have put ourselves on the way home, that's about 8 hours hike with breaks of course. It is estimated that we hiked 15 kilometers. We have crossed a river several times (which was, inter alia, the reason for the wet feet) and have up and down repeatedly set back 400 meters. In contrast to Germany (or at least to the hiking trails in the Palatinate Forest) the roads are dirt tracks only and not as wide as a road. Sometimes it went up very steeply, making it almost borders on climbing. But it's great to meet such a challenge and it feels great at the end of the day. I think that I will do that more often.

Finally, more good news! I just got my last assignment given and written my only test before the holidays. I finally have free time again! Yippie. Saturday's competitors are already happening on our epic road trip to explore the North Island. That means I'm two weeks away and then sign up again to tell with viiiiel and lots of pictures.

Wedding Card Islamic Quotes

News?

Occasionally I look here sometimes watching TV or the news and only recently been reported by the No Angels Nadja. I was surprised that were known at all here. Then I added Pankti - American on my floor - said that even BBC had reported on it and they even knew about it. If that even the Yanks ... Learn in

Well, now I've seen it in the newspaper and there myself but I asked if that is in Germany also reported that big? Because from everything I learn in here, so there is no one word (or at least not as many) lost over it.

Wedding Welcome Letters To Guests

Pies, Pot Luck (?) And what has been so for $ 17 gets

For $ 17 you get, unfortunately, not very much here in New Zealand. Nail polish, ear plugs ... or see such a purchase like this. Ok, I've bought in a convenience store's also because this is a bit more expensive. But all in all New Zealand is already an expensive place to live. At least if one German food prices is used.

Pies are in NZ quite large. A safe Source has occurred to me that each dancer average eats 15 pies a year. I had 3rd .. I guess that I'm doing well:) Pies are not sweet (that's safe, too) but of which I speak, there are such things as "Beef, Cheese & Bacon" in it. And they are wiiiiirklich delicious. This was a butter chicken pie ...

Just now we have made a "Pot Luck Dinner" (I think). I am unfortunately not quite sure how he eats it right . But basically this means only that everyone makes a national court and you have at the end of a buffet with lots of different dishes. That was really good! I've got me just did and did rusty / toast:)

Great Entertainment I have not done this weekend. Today we were a bit in the museum. This week I made my first essay finished and the next two days I will be my 2nd . Leave

In two weeks we have then been touring Mid Semester Break and are (probably) with NEM camper's North Island.

Does Abreva Work On Hair Bumps

snowboarding at Mt Ruapehu

was announced, I already last weekend snowboarding. Unfortunately, global warming has struck in New Zealand and the winter is too warm. So it (and it is in the middle of the season) has not even snowed for a month. Accordingly, it was and snow. Beautiful muddy and hardly passable. Underneath sheets of ice then so it hurt really doing when you fall with the scrap board ausm rental. Oh look, and it was thanks to low clouds and nothing. Well, but it was not all bad. I have met many new great for drinking games and a few people;)

We started on Friday at half past five at the university library so nem van / bus thing. 5-6 hours and a lot of beer later, we arrived at the hut. There's quite cool in comparison to Auckland (there are usually at least about 15 degrees). In the evening there was still a few drinking games and Liz - the American - that has probably not as well tolerated. I press it once in a way that it can also read my parents: Three types have been testing them, one taken away. The next day I got it then tried with boarding. But have given up after 2 hours due to the above conditions. But the Saturday evening was very witztig. We have "Four Kings" played. A game in which each card has a rule. And each one must be king moves his drink into a pitcher empty. Guess what can make the one who draws the fourth king ... yes, exactly, bääh. Luckily, I do not.

Sunday, I've given up only then after 3 hours with the board. Anyway. We also have the relatively early in Auckland right back GEDU. In between, there's still a break and we ate the best hamburger in the world apparently. As the Kiwis say like: "World famous !.... in New Zealand." I think the ZKM in cinema always even better.

So, that's it from my weekend. Unfortunately, I hang so now quite behind with my essays, so I'll probably locked up at home next weekend and hopefully zusammentipseln 1000 words per essay.

Ringworm White Healing

Strange # 3

Did you know that you can spend on a pizza $ 20? Yes you can, and that was one of the cheapest. Unlike Germany, Italian food here that is quite expensive. For that I Asian and above all very cheap sushi. In addition, here they do not tip. And almost everything is paid for with a debit card. And if you want to pay, then not, the waiter comes to the table and it is settled, but the number one go out on the "Checkout". As far as my first experience in a restaurant. Do not know if this is true everywhere.

Nc Weekly Certification Questions

Te Aroha

It's been a few days ago, but so far I had no time. Since I have not done anything on the weekend again for the university, I had to cut the last two days pretty clean. On Sunday we drove to Te Aroha and then have the same mountain climbed. Only 1000 meters, we have come to no more than a trail. Was a bit of a challenge for me because I walk so usually does not go so often. The go down I found actually worse, because you can more easily fall down. And on top of the mountain's quite cool, since we were in it in a cloud (weather was not so good). Unfortunately, like my battery is empty so I can not write so much today. But all the photos are yes on Facebook.

But on Friday we go to Mt Ruapehu for boarding. Next week's so probably a lot of snow pictures. As I promised before I'm gone: "In a month I go snowboarding:) I hope you'll be pretty jealous. I do have the winter (and its the summer), but who was ever in August board?
